We recommend 6 to 12 sessions for lasting hair reduction. Hair grows in cycles and the laser only targets follicles in the active growth phase, so a course of sessions is what produces a permanent result rather than a temporary one.
Your first sessions are booked about 4 weeks apart. As your hair thins out and growth slows, we extend the interval to 6 to 8 weeks. Once you've reached your goal, most clients only need occasional maintenance touch-ups.
The Soprano Ice Platinum is virtually painless. Its cooling technology keeps the skin surface comfortable throughout, and we apply a cooling gel and protective eyewear before we begin. Most clients compare it to a warm massage rather than the snapping sensation older lasers are known for.
Almost certainly. The Soprano Ice is suitable for all skin types. The exception is white, grey or red hair. The laser targets melanin, and these hair colours don't contain enough of it. Roughly 5% of people may not see the results they're hoping for.
Nearly every area of the body. The only exclusions are the palms, the soles of the feet, and inside the eye sockets. The laser targets terminal hair, the coarse and pigmented kind, rather than fine vellus hair.
Very little, which is the point. The cooling technology minimises after-effects. Some clients see temporary redness, which settles quickly and responds well to aloe vera. You'll notice a visible difference after your very first session, and consistency is what carries it through to the finish.
